Life's too Short to Act Normal

Hey, here is a very pink card I enjoyed making; I made it to enter in the Cards Galore challenge, pinks and purples.

I printed this digi from Meljens Designs and coloured him using promarkers. I then cut and embossed him using Xcut nesting dies.
I used holographic purple card to back the image, and used pink and pink swirly papers to back the card and layer the colours up. I stamped the 'Life's too short to act normal!' sentiment onto pale pink and backed it with park pink card. I raised this up on the edge of the image and gave the cat a bowtie. To finish, I used different shades of pink and purple card candy to embellish :)

Christmas Teddy Bear

Hey, here is a second Christmas card I made while away :)

I stamped this Lili of the Valley image and painted it using Twinkling H2Os. I then edged and embossed it using a scalloped die and edged the image with green ink.
I then backed the card using green and white robin papers, and backed the image with a red paper. I tied green snowflake ribbon down the right hand side of the card and attached a sentiment to the bottom right corner. To finish this card I stuck on three green hotfix  gems in the corners of the red backing paper. Pretty :)

Holly Fairy

Hey, had a lovely week in the caravan making crafty things :) Here is my holly fairy: -

I printed this cutie digi from Tiddly Inks and coloured her using copics and promarker pens. I cut her out using with a square edge blade and edged her using Brilliance Gold ink.

I started by edging the sides of the card blank with gold ink. I then cut green holly paper for the backing and cut the right hand edge using a woodware holly border punch. I then cut two flourishes using the Joy Crafts floral flourishes die. I coloured these using green and gold inks. I backed the image with red and green and put one flourish behind the image and the other over the bottom corner. I attached the sentiment and brad and a holly brad in the other corners. To finish, I attached gold, green and red gems to the holly and flourishes.

Just For You Dad

Hey, decided i'd better make dad's Fathers Day card before it arrives :) Tehe he will love it!
I printed my Fizzy Moon, All About Him image and coloured him using my new promarkers!! I then cut him into a book shape and inked round the edge with Brilliance Sky Blue ink. I inked the edge of my card blank with darker blue ink and covered it with blue checked paper, overlapping the folded edge. I edged my image with dark blue and attatched this on a diagonal. I used blue ribbon across the bottom of the card with a pale blue bow and attatched blue buttons to the corners of the image and card. I embossed a swirly arrow with cosmic shimmer light and dark blue embossing powders and attatched this to the top lefthand corner of the image. To finish, I raised the two blue sentiments 'Just for you dad' and 'When I grow up I want to be just like you' on the card. Quick but lovely :)

Got Fight

Hey, made this card yesterday for the Link Up For Pink challenge; it has to be a breat cancer card, and be PINK :)

I printed a the digi image, which is free off the link up for pink blog, and coloured her using promarker and copics pens. I cut her out using the Go Kreate rectanglar farme frilly. I edged her using bright pink ink.

I also printed the 'Got Fight' and pink loop sentiment and cut those to match the image. I then found papers from mums scraps box. I used a pink one for the backing of the card, and black for two diagonal strips across the backing. I then raised the two sentiments up in opposite corners. I used a black and pink flower, with a white and pink brad in the centre, and to finish I attatched a pink loop eyelet. A great card for a great cause!

Bear Birthday Boy

Hey, here's another creation of mine, this time for Ozzy in our family, he will be 2 this year :)

I started by stamping wooden Forever Friends image and colouring it with promarkers. I then cut and embossed it using Xcut nesting dies.

I chose my backing paper and papers to match and cut two to back the image on a slant. I used a third paper in the bottom righthand corner.

I used blue ribbon down the lefthand side of the card and attatched two cardboard buttons tied with blue string. I used a 'Birthday Boy' sentiment by Hunkydory crafts which I raised in the bottom right corner. I then cut out a number two and embossed it using two different cosmic shimmer embossing powders. To finish, I added pale blue stones to the sentiment and corners of the image.

Thank You Flower Pot

Hey, only just found time to make a card while taking a break from revising for exams. This is for the lady who lives next door to my student house and shes been so lovely and supporting to us.
I started by colouring the image, a Tiddly Inks Digi image, with promarkers. I then edged her with Versamagic pixie dust ink. I chose papers from a pile of scraps; edged the image with yellow paper and attached my backing papers. I cut a flower circle using a Fiskers punch and used this to pop out from behind my image. I used homemade flowers backed with yellow and pink flowers to embellish, as well as pink lace and matching card candy. I used a 'Thank You' sentiment, which I raised up onto the image. To finish, I cut a butterfly using Cheery Lynn Designs Exotic Butterfly dies, and embossed it using three different cosmic shimmer embossing powders ...Hopefully the lady next door will love it :)
