The Power Of Pink

Hey, here is another card for the Link Up For Pink challenge. The layout follows a sketch designed for this challenge.
I used the Loobyloo Digital Designs Caring Bear image and coloured it using pro markers. I then cut and embossed this into a scalloped edge shape and edged the image with pink ink. I used glossy accents for the ribbon on the images' shirt. I then chose my papers and used a pink one for the backing of the card and a brown flowery one for the backing rectangle as shown on the sketch. I backed my image with vanilla paper and used brown and pink flowery ribbon across the bottom of the card. To finish, I dusted a cream flower with pink ink and mounted the sentiment 'The Power Of Pink' into the centre across the corner of the image. I added four flowers down the right hand side of the image and added pink pearls to the flowers and the brown backing rectangle. Lovely :)

Nativity Christmas

Hey, here is a Christmas card I made; it follows the traditional theme and is a cute image :)
I stamped the image, which is brand new and coloured it using promarkers. I then edged the image with brown colourbox ink. I backed this onto gold card and attached brown and gold stars ribbon down the edge of the gold card. I then mounted brown paper onto my card blank, followed by a Christmas music notation paper which I inked lightly with brown. I then attached my image and used three brown gems in the corners of the image and card. I stamped the 'Wishing You A Merry Christmas' sentiment and cut it and embossed it into a circle. I edged this with a light brown ink before backing it onto a larger brown circle. To finish I attached a bow to the top left corner and a metal star into the centre of the sentiment circle.

Snowboarding Christmas

Hey, here is a christmas card I made for a snowboarding friend, quite pleased with how it turned out :)

Firstly, I stamped the Stamping Bella image 'Daisyboard' and painted it using watercolours. I cut the image in a rectangle and edged it using lilac ink. I then edged the image with silver holographic card.
Next I cut a dark purple rectangle to attach to the lilac backing card. I then cut a rectangle of snowflake patterned vellum and attached this to the dark purple. I used purple spotty ribbon up the side of the card. I used a 'Happy christmas' sentiment with a silver gem to embellish; I then inked up a lilac snowflake and attached this too with a silver gem. To finish, I used pink and purple card candy across the top and bottom of the card.

Hope, Love, Faith, Courage

Hey, here is a card I made this morning for the Link up for Pink challenge. I cut out and built up the LoubyLoo Pink Ribbon Boo Bear image to make it 3D. I cut a black edge for the image and a pink backing paper for the card. I then edged the image, backing card and backing paper with pink colour box ink. I tied pink ribbon up the side of the card. To finish, I attached four pink flowers with different spotty and heart brads in the centres.
